Caleb's First Steps

Caleb took his first steps on Saturday, August 6th!  Samuel saw.  I didn't

I love you three

Josiah now says "I love you three" instead of I love you to.  It's cute  :-)

Caleb's First Word

He yelled "Josiah" while I was changing his diaper!  Yes he said all 3 syllables.  And he said it well enough for Sammy to hear and understand him from the other room.  I said to him "Josiah?"  He smiled as if to say, yes mommy that's what I said.  Then I said "Josiah, Josiah."  And he said "i-ah"

Caleb Crawled!

Caleb Crawled today!  For the first time.

Also this week:
Two new teeth broke through
He had his first finger food (Happy Baby Puffs)

Teething and Singing

Caleb is teething.  He's getting his two top front teeth.  He's crying.  A LOT!  I've only got one guaranteed cure.  I sing him his song.  The one I wrote for him.  The one only I sing.  By the third line he's always calmed down.  I love it.

Matthew says "I love you to" even when you didn't say I love you first.  He knows he's loved.  He just says it out of the blue "I love you to!"  So Matthew if you're reading this one day. . .
